Overview
The new treatment centre will be built on the site of the existing estates department abutting the north wall of the princess christian unit (PCU) with the bishopwood hospital to the west.
The building is to be constructed with a RC frame comprising structural columns and beams with a steel roof construction.
The external scaffold was erected in 2.0m lift heights for metsec cladding and then adapted into 1.5m lifts for blockwork construction. We then re-adapted the scaffold back into 2.0m lifts for external renderer.
In addition to the main external scaffolds we also provided the site with loading bays, internal brickwork scaffold, internal birdcages to top of stairs, 2no. lifts shaft scaffolds, various leading edge handrail, rubbish chutes and crash deck scaffolds for demolition.
