Overview
The construction of the new Sixth Form facility at the existing Clapham Centre, on the south side of the Common. The new centre is designed to be a landmark building that Lambeth College and the community it serves can be proud of. The five-storey centre will incorporate specialist facilities for Performing Arts and Creative Studies, with modern Information and Communications Technology provided throughout the building.
Our remitt is to provide external independent scaffold to the entire perimeter of the building to provide access for multi trade finishes to the facade. Generally a fully boarded scaffold erected in 2.0m lifts with 1no. adaption.
In addition to the external scaffolds we will also provide monarflex complete with frame the the roadway elevations and debris netting to the remainder. Various internal scaffolds for multi trade use, external lifting beams for glazing, a 50m protective walkway, riser shaft scaffolds, internal birdcages to the performing arts auditorium, birdcages to the stairs, system staircases, hoist tower, rubbish chute and various handrail requirements throughout the site.
