Overview
This project involves the demolition of an existing lecture theatre and the construction of a new elliptical steel auditorium structure in the South Courtyard. The new Lecture Theatre will form the centre-piece of a six-storey courtyard development of teaching and research office space.
The main challenge on this project is the restricted access for both operatives and materials. A tower crane will have to lift the the majority of materials over the existing occupied school building.
