Overview
The site is located on the corner of Bevis Marks and St Mary Axe in London EC3.
The new building is a seven storey office block with a single basement. The basement and ground floor slab are reinforced concrete whilst the main structure is a steel frame with holorib decking acting as permanent formwork for the concrete floor slabs. External cladding is Portland stone faced precast concrete panels and Reynaers bronze anodised windows. The office areas are open plan providing 4400 square metres of space. Access to the new building is via a new entrance in St Mary Axe. A spiral staircase and two lifts housed in the central core serve all floors.
